About
The Three Rivers Ranger District is located just 13 miles southeast of the Idaho/Montana border. It is an impressive District, with lots to see and do. Kootenai Falls, the last natural undammed falls on a river in Montana, and the Ross Creek Cedars Scenic Area are two of the major highlights in this locale. The visitor will also find the Kootenai Falls Swinging Bridge, Yaak Falls, the Northwest Peak Scenic Area, the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness, and numerous lakes, campgrounds, and hiking trails.
