SPECIAL DIRECTIONS Headquarters for Absaroka-Beartooth Outfitters is located at 1263 Highway 10 W Big Timber, Montana 59011. Big Timber is easily accessed from Gallatin Field Airport in Bozeman and Logan International Airport in Billings. Absaroka-Beartooth Outfitter' backcountry camp, Hellroaring, is located eight miles north of Yellowstone National Park in the Absaroka Beartooth Wilderness. Hellroaring is accessed by a twelve-mile horseback ride from Independence. Independence is located at the head of Boulder River fifty-five miles south of Big Timber and accessed by 4X4 vehicles. Absaroka-Beartooth Outfitters' operates summer day fishing & horseback riding adventures just outside Big Timber and summer wilderness fly-fishing and pack trips out of Hellroaring. Big game archery and rifle hunting locations include Independence, Hellroaring and select Big Timber private land ranches.
