About
Hi-Country’s Trading Post Retail Store opened in 1996 and is just across the parking lot from our manufacturing facility. We feature our Hi-Country Beef Jerky, fresh from the factory and all made right here in Lincoln, Montana. Also featuring other foods from across the state, regional art and carvings, homemade fudge, quality jewelry and apparel, and great gift ideas! We also carry a large amount of Made in Montana items.
Company President, Jim Johnson, is an avid hunter and has his personal collection of trophies on display for the public to enjoy. These include sheep, elk, deer, muskox, bears, small game, fish and much more!
Our Trading Post is also home to the Upper Blackfoot Valley Historical Society with artifacts from around the valley on display as well. Take a walk through historical buildings behind our store. We also offer information on the Lewis and Clark expedition that crossed our valley.
Our parking lot can accommodate larger vehicles, such as RV’s, fifth wheels, and semi trucks, with two entrances for easy in and out. We offer fresh, potable water and picnic tables.
So stop in and enjoy all we have to offer!
