About Our 5th generation Montana family ranch welcomes you to a home-on-the-range experience in our lovely historic lodge! A one-room schoolhouse cabin from the 1930s, our newly renovated and constructed lodge is nestled on Vision Mountain Ranch. Our mini-lodge accommodates 10-13 guests. Perfect for family/couples lodging, retreats, weddings, reunions, classes and more. Enjoy our south-facing sun deck with open views to bird watch, star gaze, or practice yoga. Savor an outdoor dining experience while glimpsing the occasional deer and other furry friends. Lillian’s also boasts a balcony off of the upstairs bedrooms and a large sunroom by the downstairs bedrooms. SPECIAL DIRECTIONS From I-90 West (Bozeman direction): take exit 367, turn left through the underpass and then right onto Highway 191 North (known as Old Hwy 10 and now Big Timber Loop Road as it comes into town). At a store called Country Crossroads, you will “take a left”, which actually means you will stay straight and not follow Big Timber Loop Road around the curve. However, to stay straight, you get in the turn lane and signal left. Continue on 191 until you reach mile marker 4 and turn left onto Swamp Creek Road. From I-90 East (Billings direction): take exit 370 and turn right onto Big Timber Loop Road (Old Hwy 10). Drive toward Big Timber and look for a large convenience store/gas station called The Fort. Past this, turn right onto Boulder St (just after the Frosty Freeze). Travel 3 blocks until you reach 1st Ave East (Highway 191 North) and take a right, continuing on to mile marker 4. Turn left onto Swamp Creek Road. From the North (Harlowton direction): Travel 40 miles on Hwy 191 South from Harlowton. Once you reach mile marker 4, you will see the green Swamp Creek Road street sign on the highway, to your right. Turn right on this road (it will be a steep turn down onto Big Timber Creek over a one-lane bridge if you have taken the correct turn). For All Directions: From that turnoff, you will drive 7.79 miles up Swamp Creek Road. Our address is 779 B Swamp Creek Road and the mileage indicates that at this point you will turn left off the county road, through a simple arch way and into the ranch yard. The archway has three green county-numbered addresses: 779, 779 A and 779 B. Those numbers equal the distance in miles from the stop sign at the highway to the turnoff for our gate, if you are clocking it on your odometer. The cabin is the old log building with the new addition to your left. It is the first thing you will come to after driving through the green gate. If all this gets confusing, please feel free to call or text: 930-0432. You will mostly have coverage, but in spots may need to text. It is actually a lot easier than it sounds!
