About You will love this 1 bedroom/1 bath condo! It is decorated in beautiful mountain elegance and immaculately kept featuring panoramic windows for watching wildlife from the living room or the patio. Also featured in the living room is a huge leather couch for enjoying a glass of wine while viewing the wildlife outdoors or a movie! The condo is a very short stroll to the large Jacuzzi, sauna and a seasonal large outdoor pool and sunning area. The condo is located near the quaint Meadow Village of Big Sky and on the Arnold Palmer Golf Course. It has an amazing view of Lone Peak from the deck and overlooking the west fork of the Gallatin River. You will have a chance to spot the moose, elk, otter and geese from the living room! It is only a few minutes walk to a number of fine dining establishments, boutique stores, farmer's market, movie theater & free summer musical concerts offered for your enjoyment. However, the condo is off the main road and very quiet with ample open space and groom grass areas. If you are considering a summer stay in Big Sky, the area offers many wonderful outdoor adventures and sports. Arnold Palmer designed the golf course and it is a classic link-style 18 Holes/72 Par course that winds along the West Fork of the Gallatin River. This beautiful public course and intimate clubhouse (golfing rentals available and food/beer/wine) is located within a few minutes walking distance from your doorstep. If fly-fishing adventures is your preferred activity, you have chosen the perfect place to explore world-class fishing. The Gallatin River is one of the three blue ribbon fishing rivers in the area along with the Madison and Yellowstone rivers. Located just 2 miles from the condo, the Gallatin River offers 40 miles of river which is public land that is easily accessed since the highway closely follows the river. (We had additional information available on fly-fishing these rivers once you have booked the condo.) Many other sports are featured as well such as mountain biking, kayaking, hiking, ATV riding, zip lining, hunting, horse back riding, rock climbing. white water rafting and trips to Yellowstone National Park. (Complimentary bikes, snowshoes and sleds are also available for your pleasure with this condo!) If you are considering planning a winter stay, there is 85 km of groomed cross-country trails just outside the door. Other winter activities include snowshoeing, snowmobiling, yurt mountain dining, sled dog trips, and Yellowstone Park tours by snowmobile or bus. Also some of the best downhill skiing or snowboarding in the country with it's amazing groomed runs, incredible side bound skiing and NO lift lines. Big Ski has the largest amount of ski terrain in the United States. Take the free shuttle to Big Sky or Moonlight Basin ski area only 10 minutes away. (Shuttle stop is located 1 block from condo.) The property is conveniently located within minutes of major ski areas -Big Sky Resort and Moonlight Basin Resort. This is one of the last truly pristine ski areas of the West and definitely one of the best-kept secrets in America! A complimentary shuttle will pick you up just down the block. You will love our place! It is very homey, warm and welcoming. We would greatly appreciate no pets or smoking so we can keep the place in inviting condition for your next stay.
